Jordana Brewster ‘Addicted’ to Haircuts.
Jordana Brewster’s desire to cut her hair is 'like an addiction'.
The actress recently debuted a shorter hairstyle, after cutting off six inches of her dark locks.
Jordana joked at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday that she is thinking of taking her hairdo even higher.
'It's kind of like an addiction,' she said to E! Online. 'Maybe I want to get a bob...Or maybe not, because I think a bob would not be cute on me.'
Jordana went on to name her celebrity hair idols. She says it was a challenge to convince her hairdresser to chop off her luscious long brunette locks.
'I've always admired Nicole Richie and Gwyneth Paltrow for what they do with their hair,' she gushed. 'I actually had to go to my hairdresser twice. The first time, I was PMS-ing and I said, 'I want to go shorter,' and she was like, 'No, I'm not going to do that.' But the next day, I still wanted to do it. So we did it.'
Jordana is best known for playing Elena Ramos in the reboot of Dallas.
Unlike the glamorous outfits usually sported by Dallas characters, Elena's wardrobe is free from shoulder pads and glitzy pieces.
'She's always on oil rigs in boots or flats and pants,' Jordana noted to the May edition of Marie Claire magazine. 'The challenge is to look contemporary but not like she's trying too hard. Looking good isn't her priority, but then, it is Dallas, so one must look good.'
She says her off-duty uniform is pretty much the same as her character and consists of an easy sweater, jeans and ballet flats.
Jordana recently served as a guest judge on Project Runway's 11th season. She says this was an eye-opening experience.
'I'm not rushing out to buy the latest trend,' she explained. 'There's just no way to keep up!' '[About her Project Runway episode] Hearing Zac [Posen] talk about seams and cut—he has a whole language I was unaware of.' http://arabia.msn.com
