'Snow White & the Huntsman' Set For 2015 Sequel: Will the Original Cast Be Included?

Snow White and the Huntsman will forever be remembered as the movie set where Kristen Stewart and married director Rupert Sanders had an affair, cheating on their significant others Robert Pattinson and Liberty Ross, respectively.

However, the film obviously made quite a statement before the scandal became publicized (with pictures!) last summer -- because it's getting a sequel! Adam Fogelson, chairman of Universal Pictures, confirmed the news on Tuesday, revealing no other information except that the second installment is slated for a 2015 release.

While it's pretty likely that Rupert won't be coming back to direct the second film (the cheating scandal ultimately led to Liberty filing for divorce), there's been no confirmation regarding whether or not K.Stew and her famous castmates Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth will be back for round two. Like with most sequels, it looks like we'll be getting this news little by little! A description of the movie's plot has also not been revealed.

Although the movie set affair didn't bode too well for Rupert's marriage, things were a bit luckier on Kristen's end, as Rob stuck by her throughout the scandal. The couple seems to be going strong, too, and were just spotted together at the Coachella Music Festival last weekend. Rob was criticized for taking Kristen back so easily, but things seem to be working out for them now, so who are we to judge, right?
