Kelly Clarkson is happy with her body.

Over the years, the American Idol star has become known for her fluctuating weight. Since her reality TV win, the 30-year-old has famously yo-yoed between a UK size 8 and 16.

'I love my body,' Kelly told Britain's Heat magazine. 'Sometimes I eat more, sometimes I play more. I'll be different sizes all the time.'

Kelly has made no bones about her desire to be 'toned' when she's dating someone, and promptly lost 2st 2lbs. in May last year after meeting her fiancé Brandon Blackstock, a Nashville talent agent. But now the happy couple are engaged, Kelly is back to a size 16.

'My 'happy' weight changes,' insists the singer. 'I love healthy stuff and junk food an equal amount. Whatever I crave, I go for it. I'm never trying to lose weight.'

Friends attribute Kelly's current weight gain to being so comfortable in her relationship that she's relaxed her usual workouts. But they hinted there's no motivation to get back in the gym like her upcoming wedding.

'She's chosen a wedding dress and it's pretty tight, so she'll have to start watching her weight again,' an insider warned.
